Quality Reimagined.

At APEX, we are reimagining what a quality home inspection can look like. With over a decade of experience in real estate and home remodeling, we know first hand how the current processes of home ownership are not inclusive of everyone’s lived experience. We hope to raise the standard through our full disclosure approach, which considers the rich diversity of people living in Minnesota. We are passionate about building relationships with our clients, going the extra mile to bridge information gaps, and providing experiences that center them and their comfort.

Meet the Team

Ethan, a 34 year old, southeast Asian man with a black hair comb over, mustache, beard, and Hmong tribal sleeve tattoo. Ethan wears a buttoned up black polo and a warm smile, posing in front of a gray concrete wall.

Paochoua Ethan Vang,
Principal Inspector (Ethan/he/him/his)

About Ethan
The Twin Cities is my home. I work, live, and play here. I want to inspire confidence in homeownership and make homes safer. Principally, I want to answer the questions my parents never got to ask when buying their first home.

Passion & Pursuits
I want to write a fiction novel someday; maybe go on long motorcycle adventures in Laos and try something a five-star Michelin restaurant can't pronounce or emulate. In the near distant future, I hope to acquire my private pilot license.

Laichee, a 30 year old south east Asian woman with mid length black hair and a small tribal tattoo on her right shoulder. Laichee wears a beige sleeveless top, thin gold hoops and stud earrings. With a warm smile, posing in front of a concrete wall.

Laichee Yang,
Administrative Manager (Laichee/she/her/hers)

About Laichee
As the Virgo boss at APEX, I make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. This also includes endless conversations with Ethan about how to make the work we do more accessible to better equip our communities when it comes to their homes and real estate investments.

Passions & Pursuits
When not working with APEX, I am a multi-disciplinary designer and artist. I am also a dance artist with Ananya Dance Theatre, a company of BIPOC women, womxn, and femme artists and activists based in St. Paul.

One of my current pursuits is to learn how to cook more indigenous Hmong dishes. Send recipes my way if you care for sharing!
